SIA Cargo organized a year-end luncheon for all staff on 28th December 2012 as a form of appreciation for their effort in 2012. The event was held at SATS Airfreight Terminal (AFT) and the location certainly brought back memories for many of the staff.  

Our hosts for the day were Vignesh and Michelle and they brought much cheer and joy to the function. We also created a special photo booth with interesting props this year. The photo booth was well received by our staff and they had fun taking candid photographs with their fellow colleagues and friends.

After the opening speech by our President, Mr Tan Kai Ping, buffet lunch was served and we conducted our first mini lucky draw. One of the highlights of our mini lucky draw prizes were tickets to the home of Kai Kai and Jia Jia at River Safari. These two lovely giant pandas were proudly ferried by SIA Cargo from China, Chengdu, to Singapore in September 2012.

Last but not least, we had a grand lucky draw which was highly anticipated by our staff. There were attractive prizes up for grabs such as movie vouchers to Golden Village theatres, a coffee machine, iPad mini etc. We were glad to announce that the top prize, iPad mini, was won by our colleague from the Revenue Accounting Department.

The function was successful and made possible by the dedicated work of the organizing committee and advisor, Mr Ng Chee Keong (VP Safety and Services). We would like to take this opportunity to thank our emcees and all who helped out in one way or the other. Cheers to a great 2012 and we look forward to a better year ahead in 2013.
