Responsibilities
You will provide a wide range of legal support for SIA Cargo's business and operations, including drafting of contracts, providing legal advice and ensuring regulatory compliance, all in the areas of general corporate work, aircraft and engineering related contracts, sales and marketing contracts, equipment and property leases, corporate ventures, corporate finance and IT contracts. You will also manage dispute resolutions, including cross-border litigation.
Professional Requirements
You should be called to the Singapore Bar and possess a good law degree with at least 2 years' corporate practice experience in a large reputable Singapore law firm or in-house experience in a Singapore public-listed company or MNC. Excellent legal drafting skills is a pre-requisite and familiarity with corporate secretarial work will be an advantage. You should be able to work independently and yet be a good team player and be able to communicate with people effectively in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will also have a positive attitude with enthusiasm to excel.
Language Requirements
Excellent command of the English language is a pre-requisite. In addition, Mandarin language skills (both spoken and written) are not required but will be preferred.
