SRI LANKA Colombo SIA Cargo operates thrice-weekly B747-400 freighter services to Colombo. In addition, SIA operates daily B777-200 services to the city. The main exports are textiles bound for the USA and Europe, and tuna fish and live plants for Japan. Besides being Sri Lanka’s biggest and most cosmopolitan city, Colombo is also a thriving commercial centre with one of the busiest shipping ports in South Asia. The Colombo cargo team is headed by Rohan de Lanerolle and comprises 11 sales and marketing staff. Aset Airways Limited is the GSA. |
