Dhaka is a bustling metropolis where the streets and markets are perpetually crowded with people.

SIA began a twice-weekly A313 passenger service to Dhaka in October 1986. Today, it operates a daily B777-200 passenger service to the city.

The cargo team under our GSA, MAAS Travel & Tours Ltd, comprises five Sales/Reservation staff and 13 operations staff.

Major exports out of Bangladesh include readymade garments, which account for 70-80% of the total airfreight, finished leather and leather products, tea, jack fruits and vegetables, frozen/chilled fish and shrimps, live crabs/eels, pharmaceuticals and ceramic products. Major imports include textiles/fabrics, garment accessories, chemicals, electrical/electronic equipment, frozen food, fruits, edible oil, wheat, machinery and computer parts.
