With 32 weekly SIA Cargo B747-400 freighter services transiting at Dubai and Sharjah enroute to Europe and the US, United Arab Emirates (UAE) has the largest number of such services after Singapore. In addition, SIA operates 17 weekly B777-300 passenger services to Dubai, the largest of UAE’s seven emirates.

SIA Cargo UAE, supported by GSAs Dubai National Air Travel Agency and Sharjah National Travel & Tourist Agency (P) Ltd, also oversees operations in Kuwait and offline points in Pakistan, Oman, Iran and Lebanon.

UAE is a major importer of consumer commodities, brought in for local consumption and distribution to neighbouring countries. Exports are mainly transshipments, with commodities ranging from electronics to perishables.

SIA Cargo is a major player in the equine transportation business that is generated by the Dubai World Cup. Race horses associated with this prestigious event are uplifted regularly to Europe, USA, Singapore, Japan and Australia.
