Tianjin Joins SIA Cargo’s “Mega Ark” Network
On 21 May 2006 at 1945 hours, an SIA Cargo B747-400 “Mega Ark” aircraft landed at Tianjin Binhai International Airport. This was not an ordinary flight. SQ7890 was the inaugural flight on the new Singapore-Nanjing-Tianjin-Los Angeles route. With this flight, Tianjin became the newest destination in SIA Cargo’s network.

  the 37th freighter destination to join SIA Cargo's network. The new freighter service to Tianjin will operate twice weekly, making it the fourth SIA Cargo freighter destination in China after Nanjing, Shanghai
and Xiamen.
