the South East Asian region alone, SIA Cargo serves 10 cities
in seven countries, uncluding Singapore, the heart of our
operations.
This compries both freighter and passenger services to Jakarta
and Bangkok, as well as daily passenger services on wide-bodied
passenger aircraft to Denpasar Bali, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh
City, Kuala Lumpar, Penang and Manila. In addition, we have
5 x weekly flights to Bandar Seri Begawan on narrow-bodied
aircraft. |

Singapore
A dynamic city with only 697.1 sq km of land area, Singapore is
a rich blend of cultures, cuisine, arts and architecture, and
home to 4.35 million people. World-renowned Changi Airport handled
1.78 million tonnes of air cargo and 8.3 million visitors in 2004,
all of which contri-buted to the country's external trade of S$580.37
billion for the year.

Indonesia
There are some 300 ethnic groups in Indonesia, a result of both
the country's unique geography and history. The glue that binds
the people together is Bahasa Indonesia, the national language,
and Pancasila , the national philosophy, which stresses the
doctrine of unity and universal justice for all Indonesians.

Malaysia
The twin peaks of the Petronas Towers, one of the tallest buildings
in the world, form a prominent part of the impressive skyline
of Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. By contrast to the bustling
capital city, the historic settlement of Penang is a quieter labyrinth
of interesting streets, mosques, temples and shops.
Although not yet a freighter station, Kuala Lumpur is well connected
with six daily flights to Singapore. Penang, our other Malaysian
station, has three daily flights, with the exception of Days 1,

Thailand
Variety is the spice of life in Thailand. This multi-faceted destination
not only has an enormous cultural diversity, it is also blessed
with topographical diversity and natural beauty. From the golden-spired
temples of Bangkok to the excitement of tropical beach resorts,
there is no shortage of attractions to interest visitors.
Apart from direct flights to Singapore, Bangkok also offers direct
flights to Osaka and Tokyo in Japan. There is both a daily passenger
service, as well as a Day 5 freighter service to Osaka. In addition,
there is a daily passenger service to Tokyo (with the exception
of Day 5). On top of this, Bangkok has six daily. >>
