SINGAPORE AIRLINES CARGO WINS AT ASIAN FREIGHT & SUPPLY CHAIN AWARDS

Singapore Airlines Cargo wins "Best Air Cargo Carrier - Asia"
award at the 2004 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCAs)
event held in Shanghai. Singapore Airlines Cargo has received
this award on ten previous occasions.
"Singapore Airlines Cargo is delighted to once again receive
this award and would like to thank our customers for their
continued support and our staff and service providers for
their drive in delivering the required levels of service"
said Mr Koh Kah Heok, General Manager China, Singapore Airlines
Cargo. In addition, Singapore Airlines Cargo is a member of
the WOW alliance, that received the "Best Air Freight Alliance"
award. Other WOW members include Lufthansa Cargo, JAL Cargo
and SAS Cargo.
SIA Cargo currently operates a fleet of thirteen Mega Ark
Boeing 747- 400 freighters on a global network that extends
to 70 cities in 36 countries. One additional aircraft is out
on lease, whilst three more Boeing 747-400 Freighters are
on order. In addition to dedicated freighter services, SIA
Cargo also markets the entire cargo capacity of the SIA passenger
aircraft fleet on its worldwide network.
