Singapore Airlines Cargo is rescinding its War Surcharge on affected flights through the Middle East with immediate effect.

The US$0.25/kg surcharge was implemented when at the outbreak of hostilities in Iraq, to cover contingency costs such as longer flight times around the war zone, added security and insurance charges.
