Singapore Airlines Cargo (SIA Cargo) has been voted Best Air Cargo Carrier at the 2003 Asia Logistics Awards held in Singapore last night.

The award was given based on a poll voted by readers of Lloyd's Freight Transport Buyer Asia and Asian readers of International Freighting Weekly and Containerisation International.

Mr. Freddy Khoo, Regional Vice President West Asia and Africa, who received the award on behalf of SIA Cargo said, " We are indeed very pleased to receive this award. We thank all our customers for their support and continued encouragement in spurring us forward. We also must thank our staff for their dedication in delivering the services."

Singapore Airlines Cargo, a wholly owned subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, now serves 70 cities in 36 countries across 5 continents. It operates a fleet of twelve 747-400 Mega Ark freighters and also markets the entire belly-hold cargo capacity on services operated by Singapore Airlines.
