Singapore Airlines Cargo has collected the "Best Air Cargo Carrier - Asia" award for the twelfth time at the 2005 Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards (AFSCA) ceremony held in Hong Kong.

We appreciate their continuing support and would also like to thank our staff for maintaining a high standard of service to keep SIA Cargo ahead in a highly competitive market." said Mr Michael Cheong, General Manager Hong Kong and Macau, Singapore Airlines Cargo.

SIA Cargo currently operates a fleet of fourteen Mega Ark Boeing 747- 400 freighters on a global network that extends to 70 cities in 36 countries. Two new Boeing 747-400 freighters are scheduled to join the fleet later this year and the airline also has orders for three Boeing 747-400 passenger to freighter conversions, which will be delivered between 2007 and 2009. SIA Cargo also markets the entire cargo capacity of the SIA passenger aircraft fleet on its worldwide network. The airline is also a member of the WOW Alliance and Cargo 2000.
