Singapore Airlines Cargo wins three awards

Readers of Cargo News Asia, a leading shipping, supply chain and cargo transport newspaper, have voted Singapore Airlines Cargo as the "Best Air Cargo Carrier-Asia" and "Best Green Service Provider – Airline" in the annual Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards survey. The Airline was voted the winner in these two categories for the 15th time and 3rd time respectively.

Mr Tan Kai Ping, President of the Airline, who received the awards, commented: "We are proud to receive these awards on behalf of our staff who work hard to enhance the Airline's commitment to quality service, and we acknowledge the unstinting support given to us by our loyal customers in a highly competitive market. We are also delighted that readers of Cargo News Asia recognize our commitment to make our operations and workplace more environmentally friendly. These awards are a welcome boost for all of us."

This year's awards presentation was held at the Shangri La Hotel in Singapore on 27 April 2011.

The Airline was also voted "Cargo Airline of the Year- Asia Pacific", conferred by Air Cargo News, at the Cargo Airline of the Year Awards. The awards presentation was held at the Lancaster Hotel in London recently. Mr Simon Coomber, Manager UK & Ireland, collected the award on behalf of the Airline.
